Our Muse, Saskia
Behind all prolific men, there is a untold story of the powerful woman that was instrumental to his success. Rembrandt Van Rijn was one of the most revered artists of all time. He is known for his self portraits, biblical scenes but most of all his mastery of shadow and light. Saskia, his devoted wife, muse and pilar of strength has her own fascinating story. She captured our hearts and deserve a rightful place next her husband in the books of art history.
